Here’s a simple practice to try: Intentionally begin your day with beauty.
When you first wake up, look out a window, listen to music, read a poem, or view art. If you must be on your phone, then follow an awe-inspiring Instagram feed and spend time with it. Take a few deep breaths.
Do something (right away in the morning) that connects you to beauty. This practice is a pause. And it's a reminder about what's good in the world.
Try it for a week and see what happens.
