I recently read a proverb, "If you are too busy to laugh, you are too busy." I want to add more...
If you are too pissed off to laugh, then you are too pissed off.
If you are too stressed to laugh, then you are too stressed.
If you are too sad to laugh, then you are too sad.
Laughter is a clue. If it comes naturally, we're in an open state. If it's difficult or forced, we have information: something is restricting our mind-heart-body. How can we make a shift?
Laughter is powerful medicine. And we can intentionally practice. Allow yourself some lightness. Watch this short video:
