Change Your Perspective
During a stressful day, it’s important to change perspective. This allows you to shift from unhelpful thought patterns to wider views.
The next time you feel sluggish, scattered, or stuck, change your position.
If you’re seated, stand up.
If you’re standing, sit down.
Take a short walk.
Look out a window or, even better, go outside.
Make a conscious choice to change your perspective.
New ideas often arise in the shower, walking to the bathroom, or during an afternoon workout. We need breaks from overthinking and space for creativity.
And this practice doesn’t need to be a big deal! Simply take a 5-minute break.
Change your position.
Walk around and notice your surroundings.
Remember that you are part of a much bigger and wider world.
